I woke up at 5:30 am and cleaned all morning until my 10:00 class, then was in class all day- got out and did homework and then went to the gym and got home and did more homework.
Fun fact: you are born with a set amount of muscle fibers-
your muscles grow with the addition of actin and myosin

I want to be a good person
I want to be smart, capable, calm, classy, dependable, funny, kind, responsible, attractive, inventive, independent, proactive, positive, easy to talk to and even easier to get along with, trustworthy, open minded, free thinking, likable, indispensable, and one of a kind.
It’s so much easier said than done but I will never stop trying.
What I love about biology is the way everything builds upon itself. In both micro and modern biology at any given point in the semester photosynthesis was covered along with numerous other topics that had been taught previously in Bio 1107 and then again in 1108. Today in cell we had the pleasure of continuing our previous discussion on photosynthesis and rather than wanting to shoot myself in the foot because ‘Dear LORD this is the thousandth time I’ve heard this lecture!!!’ I was actually engaged more than I’ve ever been on the subject (I’m not a fan of plant biology to be honest) because of the immense detail we went into. While it may seem dull for the first three or four times you hear about it…well it is, imagine sitting in bio 1107 and having to fathom Plastoquinone, Cytochrome b6-f complex and its heme groups and Fe-S clusters, the photosystems and how they create a z-scheme in redox potentials, and so on. Not that it’s exactly rocket science but adding that in with a mass amount of material that you’re hearing for the first time could be a little overwhelming.
Aaaaaannnndd that is the kind of thing that floats through my head.
Sorry for a potentially boring rant.

I often times find myself asking the same question.
